UNITED STATES, February 24 — LAS VEGAS – Rapper Flavor Flav invited the women's U. S. hockey team to celebrate their gold medal win in Las Vegas on social media Feb.

water polo sides in Paris during the 2024 Summer Games. The invite comes on the heels of the women's hockey team declining an invitation to the State of the Union address from the White House. A USA Hockey spokesperson previously confirmed the invitation to USA TODAY and said that the team would not be able to attend the speech citing "previously scheduled academic and professional commitments following the Games.

President Donald Trump spoke to the men's team, connecting through FBI Director Kash Patel , following their victory over Canada. He invited them to attend the address and said, "I must tell you, we're going to have to bring the women's team, you do know that? " Trump added he " probably would be impeached " if he did not invite the women's team.
