UNITED STATES, May 25 — POCONO TWP. , Pa. (WPVI) -- A man in the Poconos is facing charges for vandalizing pickleball courts after he was injured playing.
Officers accuse 31-year-old Saif Kaleem, of Tannersville, of vandalizing two parks in Pocono Township. The nets at TLC and Mountain View Park were cut earlier this month. Police say video shows a man, now identified as Kaleem, cutting one of the pickleball nets at TLC Park.
Police say when Kaleem was confronted, he allegedly told them he was recently injured playing pickleball and cut the nets at the parks due to his summer being ruined. Kaleem has been charged with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and trespassing.
