Faithfully Magazine Rabbi Schneider of Discovering the Jewish Jesus has cut off the sidelocks he wore for seven years. Schneider, who leads a Messianic Jewish ministry, explained his reasons for the change in a recent video. He stated that he originally wore the sidelocks to identify with his Jewish roots and to honor what he believed Jesus would have done.

However, he now feels that it is time to move on from this practice. Schneider emphasized that his decision was a personal one and that he respects those who choose to continue wearing sidelocks. He also noted that his ministry will continue to focus on sharing the gospel with both Jews and Gentiles.
